Three 6 Mafia made history as the first hip-hop group to ever win an Oscar for Best Song and now they are breaking new ground again as Playboy photographers for an exclusive Playboy.com shoot. Memphis natives DJ Paul and Juicy J, whose misadventures are being documented on MTV's "Adventures in Hollyhood," hit Playboy's Santa Monica studio for an after-hours photo session as celebrity guest photographers.
Juicy J was the first to get behind the camera and was full of compliments and outrageous praise for his gorgeous model, Playboy Cyber Girl Jennifer Korbin. Juicy J wanted to capture the entire experience, painstakingly shooting the grips and makeup artists in the background and even giving everyone on the crew a nickname. DJ Paul took a more deliberate approach to his photo shoot. With his camera mounted on a tripod, he took one shot at a time before re-posing Jennifer and repositioning the cameras and lights for his next shot.
The pictorials shot by Three 6 Mafia, plus behind-the-scenes photographs and steamy video from the sessions can be seen only in the Playboy Cyber Club, Playboy.com's subscription site.
Playboy.com's Guest Celebrity Photographer feature is enjoying increasing popularity with some of today's top names in entertainment angling to get in on the action. Previous celebrity photographers include NASCAR star Dale Earnhardt Jr., multi-platinum rapper Nelly, Grammy-winning duo Outkast, DMX, Ja Rule, Carmen Electra, Jenny McCarthy, rocker Tommy Lee and Korn frontman Jonathan Davis.
